Plagiarism Check

JITCoS: Journal of Information Technology and Computer System is committed to ensuring the originality of all published articles. Plagiarism and unethical publication practices are strictly prohibited.

Plagiarism Screening

All submitted manuscripts are screened using reputable plagiarism detection software (such as Turnitin or iThenticate) before being sent for peer review. Manuscripts found to contain significant similarity with previously published works will be returned to the author for revision or rejected outright.

Threshold for Similarity

  • The acceptable overall similarity index is below 20%.
  • No single source should exceed 3% of the manuscript content.
  • Proper citation and referencing are required for all quoted or paraphrased material.

Consequences of Plagiarism

If plagiarism is detected at any stage of the publication process (pre- or post-publication), the manuscript may be rejected, retracted, or subject to editorial sanctions. Authors may also be blacklisted from future submissions.

Reminder: Authors are strongly encouraged to check their manuscripts for originality before submission using trusted plagiarism detection tools.
